injuries typically occur suddenly and are felt as a muscle strain which may be a slight tear of the muscles supporting your ankles. If you've ever uttered the words "I've sprained my ankle",
you may have been referring to the muscle pain, but a muscle sprain is a tear or stretch in the ligaments that support the joint. Regardless of the type of ankle injury you have, Dr. Reimer
welcomes the opportunity to heal your injury and strengthen your ankles to prevent future pain. We use chiropractic adjustments to position the ankle in a proper alignment. Our goal is to
reduce inflammation so we may use ice and elevation to decrease the fluid circulating to your ankles. Chiropractic adjustments help with the flow of blood into and out of the injured area
which increases the removal of toxins that may be contributing to your discomfort. Dr. Reimer also uses the Graston Technique which includes several different instruments which are placed on
your injury. These help Dr. Reimer detect where scar tissue is located and the technique reduces the scarring to increase your range of motion.
Shoulder Rehabilitation Techniques
Shoulders are unique joints since they rely on the muscles to hold the joint together. Our team helps strengthen these muscles to support strong shoulder movement. We use corrective
stretching exercises to target tight muscles and improve your range of motion. Other techniques include chiropractic adjustments to align your shoulder, the use of exercise bands to
strengthen the muscles and isometric exercises to strengthen the joint at localized areas.
